doctorwho: Doctor Who star Alex Kingston joins Arrow cast | SciFiNow Doctor Who star Alex Kingston has signed up to play Dinah Lance, the estranged mother Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) in Arrow. According to Entertainment Weekly, Dinah Lance will make her debut later in 2013, seeking to make amends with the family she deserted following the death of her daughter – Laurel’s sister – Sarah (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in the accident that marooned Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).  As we’ve mentioned before, the Arrow executive producers are huge fans of Who. First they cast Jack in a key role, now they’ve cast River. Whelp, there I go! If you guys are looking for me I’m probably locked in my room hurriedly catching up with this show.
